From a technical perspective, the performance of single-point load cells is influenced by various factors, including material selection, encapsulation processes, circuit design, and environmental adaptability. High-quality single-point load cells are typically constructed from stainless steel or alloy materials, offering excellent corrosion and impact resistance. Additionally, sensitivity, linearity, and repeatability are key metrics for evaluating performance.
Accuracy Class: This is a core requirement. Mainstream products generally comply with OIML R60 C3 or NTEP Class III 5000S certification standards. Combined error typically ranges from ±0.02% to ±0.05%, while high-precision models-such as the MT1022-can achieve a combined error of ≤0.016% FS.
Ingress Protection (IP) Rating: This determines the sensor's resistance to dust and water; common ratings include IP66 and IP67. An IP66 rating indicates protection against powerful water jets, whereas IP67 allows for short-term immersion in water. The appropriate rating should be selected based on the humidity and dust levels of the operating environment.
