When an object is placed on the weighing platform, pressure is exerted on the sensor, causing elastic deformation. This deformation alters the impedance and the excitation voltage, resulting in a variable analog signal output. This signal is amplified by an amplifier circuit and sent to an analog-to-digital (A/D) converter. The signal is converted into a digital format suitable for processing and transmitted to the CPU for calculation and control. Based on keyboard commands and programmed instructions, the CPU processes the data and outputs the result to the display. Electronic scales integrate modern sensor, electronic, and computer technologies to meet real-world demands for "rapid, accurate, continuous, and automatic" weighing. They effectively eliminate human error, thereby better satisfying the requirements of legal metrology management and industrial process control.
